It was an exciting moment for Yakubar Musu Derek as he expressed the joy, gratitude and realization of his dream to be in Liberia and first aero experience upon arrival at the Roberts International Airport on February 3, 2010.
Derek is an Evangelist, handicapped, a Nigerian and resident of Jos, Plateau State. Ahead bumped into Derek at an annual program, New Life for All, hosted in Jos last year where Oscar L. James, President/Ahead International and Evangelist Mike Silva served as resource persons.
Derek possessed a true value and gift that Ahead promised to ignite, to the service of humanity – the value of the fear and love for God, dissemination of his Word and vision to win souls to the Heavenly Kingdom. He envisage the task of winning souls especially in an Islamic dominated community to be one of patience, endurance, understanding, investment of time and energy and a success with God in it.
In support, Ahead has extended Derek a four year degree program in Theology at the AGM Bible College in Liberia where classes are expected to begin next week. Derek has his gifts in discipleship teaching, counseling (HIV/AIDS and the hopeless) and music. PLEASE HELP US HELP DEREK ACHIEVE THIS HEAVENLY MANDATE.
